05 Jul Morning Practical Module With Geoff + Apprentices

Geoff Lawton explaining to our morning PDC (Permaculture Design Certificate) crew the ‘ins and outs’ of our nursery and plans for future expansion. The nursery was very full only several weeks ago but with some good rains intervening we have been working very hard to get them planted. Especially the larger trees in pots we need to get in the ground after a year from seed to seedling to tree. Geoff says that while you won’t get much growth during the cooler season, the moisture in the ground means the trees can settle in without too much stress before the warmer months return. The rains will have returned by then too and the trees will be ready to charge ahead with fresh growth.
